iBUYPOWER and Denial have advanced to the second round of lower bracket at ESEA Invite Season 17 Global Finals after victories over mousesports and eLevate.

After being knocked down to the lower bracket by Virtus.pro and fnatic, iBUYPOWER and Denial have gotten their first wins this weekend in Dallas as they've advanced to the final six.

Denial fell short against eLevate in the opening map de_season, despite a seven round terrorist side, ultimately seeing Tyler "⁠Storm⁠" Wood's side come out on top 16-13.

NAF-FLY's Denial advance over eLevate 

Second map in the series was de_cache, where both teams had a weak defensive side, but still drew after regulation. Shahzeb "⁠ShahZaM⁠" Khan and company then prevailed, 19-15.

The series came down to de_inferno, where Denial started on the defensive side and scored ten rounds. After losing the pistol, eLevate won five straight, but then lost out, 10-16. iBUYPOWER got an early 6-1 lead as terrorists versus mouz on de_cache, but then lost eight straight rounds. mousesports then extended their lead to 12-8 in the second half.

Braxton "⁠swag⁠" Pierce's team tied the game at twelve before mouz seized control again, gaining a 14-12 lead and money control, only to lose it at the last second and lose the map 14-16.

iBUYPOWER take down mousesports to advance 

Facing elimination, mousesports needed to win de_dust2 to stay alive in Dallas. However, Tyler "⁠Skadoodle⁠" Latham's team proved way too hot to handle on the second map.
